About WhistlePig
In 2007, Raj Bhakta purchased a farm in Shoreham, Vermont and founded WhistlePig in 2008. The company opened their distillery on the 500-acre farm in 2015 and Bhakta retired from the business in 2017. BDT Capital partners partnered with WhistlePig who have emerged as an ultra-premium luxury American whiskey.

2010- 96 rating for their 10-Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey by Wine Enthusiast.
2016- 97 rating for their 15-Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey by Wine Enthusiast.
2017- ‘Best in Show Whiskey’ title in blind tasting at San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
