Description:
The Willett Family Estate Small Batch Straight Rye Whiskey is one of the most respected “young” ryes on the market. The palate is rich and sweet, resembling toffee, with notes of vanilla and dark chocolate with a finish of bold spice.

Nose– Brandied cherries, orange zest, cinnamon and a distinct herbal freshness similar to mint or pine.
Taste– Toffee, vanilla, dark chocolate, hints of caraway seed, fennel and black tea.
Finish– Charred oak, baking spice and a cherry finish.

About the Distillery
In 1936, Thompson Willett founded the Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. The company remains family owned and continues to produce bourbon and rye whiskeys to this day. The Distillery also has a visitors center which accommodates guests for tastings and tours.

Willet Family Estate Small Batch Straight Rye Whiskey has a copper bronze hue with a light sweet grain aroma and a backsplash of wood. The rye starts off semi sweet with a woody oak flavor. This rye is very smooth and nice!
